Stephan Pareigis is Professor of Computer Science at HAW Hamburg with a focus on reinforcement learning, predictive analytics, autonomous and reactive systems and real-time programming. In his research, he develops adaptive and predictive AI models that adapt dynamically, learn from experience and optimize decisions.
He is currently founding the Faculty of Computer Science and Digital Society at HAW and is building Augmented Data Labs, a platform for data-based decision support - especially for small and medium-sized enterprises. He is developing practical training formats and would like to increasingly support specialists and managers in the implementation of intelligent, data-driven solutions.
For him, music and composition are a creative counterpoint to technology - and often a source of new perspectives.
