Purposes and Legal Basis of Processing

  • Purpose: Entry security and vandalism prevention

  • Legal basis: Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests), § 4 BDSG

  • Protection of property and premises

  • Safety and security of our employees and visitors

  • Prevention and investigation of criminal offences on the premises


Storage Period (Retention Criteria)

  • Video recordings are kept for a maximum of 72 hours, then deleted in full.

  • Longer retention only if necessary to enforce legal claims or to investigate/prosecute specific criminal offences.


Recipients or Categories of Recipients

  • Authorized employees of oose eG

  • Where criminal offences are involved, data may be passed to law enforcement authorities

  • No other transfers to third parties


Data Subject Rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

  1. Confirmation & Access (Art. 15 GDPR):
    Request confirmation whether personal data concerning you are being processed, and obtain a copy of that data.

  2. Rectification (Art. 16 GDPR):
    Request correction of inaccurate personal data or completion of incomplete data.

  3. Erasure (“Right to be Forgotten,” Art. 17 GDPR):
    Request deletion of your personal data if one of the grounds in Art. 17 applies (e.g. data no longer needed for the purposes collected).

  4. Restriction of Processing (Art. 18 GDPR):
    Request that processing be suspended where one of the conditions in Art. 18 applies (e.g. you have lodged an objection while your request is under review).

  5. Objection (Art. 21 GDPR):
    Object at any time to the processing of your personal data on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will cease processing unless we demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds or need the data for legal claims.

  6. Complaint to a Supervisory Authority (Art. 77 GDPR):
    You may lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority if you believe our processing violates the GDPR. In Hamburg, this is:
