OMG Certified Expert in Business Process Management 2 (OCEB 2)

First-hand knowledge - We are co-developers of the certification.

The FAQ on OCEB 2 can be found at the end of this article.

The OMG has been increasingly involved in the area of business process management for a number of years. It is responsible for many standards in this area. These include, for example, the Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN), the Business Process Maturity Model (BPMM) and the Business Motivation Model (BMM).

The certification is based on these standards, but also includes topics that are not the responsibility of the OMG, such as balance scorecards, general principles and Six Sigma. OCEB 2 is not a pure certification of OMG standards, but a certification of knowledge about business process modeling.

The certification has a total of 5 levels. The fundamental level is of interest to anyone who deals with business processes. The advanced levels branch out into the two target groups of business and IT.

Employees of oose have written the preparatory book for the OCEB 2 certification (Fundamental). Basiswissen Geschäftsprozessmanagement has been published by dpunkt-Verlag. The book is part of the seminar material in our OCEB seminars.

oose offers preparation courses and certification. As co-developers of the certification, we provide you with first-hand information.

OMG-Certified Expert in BPM 2 Business Intermediate

In the OCEB2-BI seminar, the foundations laid with the Fundamental certification are deepened. This is done here from a professional perspective, while the technical consolidation takes place in the OCEB-TI seminar. Targeted exercises allow you to apply what you have learned yourself and discuss it with the other participants. In this way, you will receive the necessary tools for the subsequent certification as an OMG-Certified Expert in BPM 2 Business Intermediate.
